Hey everybody, In this changlog we will focus on spawners and a few changes to towns. Spawners: Unfortunately, our spawner plugin makes people pay for picking up spawners, even if they just placed them. Since we cannot change how the plugin works, we have decided to lower the respective prices quite a bit instead. After the next restart, the price to break spawners will be lowered to 30 k for most spawners. Picking up passive mob spawners like cow or chicken will be even cheaper with 15 k. Town/Plot perms: Due to towns being griefed quite often, we decided to change the default town and plot permissions. From now on, when creating a new town, building and destroying will be disabled for residents as well. This way the respective town owner has to deliberately enable those perms if desired (instead of the other way around). The same will be done for plots (if a player buys a plot, they still have all the permissions on that plot, but they have to add permissions for other people). Town jails: The other thing we are addressing is jailing players in town’s jail. Since this can easily be abused to prevent players from playing, that do not have the money or the knowledge to get out, we decided it would be safest to disable this feature altogether. Should you have any issues with your town members and do not know how to resolve them, please contact staff instead. Voting: Finally, it seems that the new voting site didn’t make it, so we will revert to the old settings & prices for both creative and towny. The resident perms are for players who create a new town from now on. Nothing regarding the permissions changes listed above affect any current towns.
