I am not entirely sure if the creative in "Creative Builds" refers to the gamemode or to the creativity involved in building stuff. Nevertheless there are quite a few great buildings in the old towny world and since that server is about to end I wanted to create a thread where we can share screenshots of all the awesome things that have been created there over the past months. For that reason I want to encurage everyone to post pictures of the things you built or came across during your time there (as probably not everyone checks the forums and I would like to have all the cool buildings here ). As I still have to make some decent screenshots of my own project (not trivial since I want to show its function properly), I will instead show you the tower of Meathouse1. He originally intended to create a whole town around it, but only managed to finish parts of it as of now. Alright, now the time has come to show something I built on SK. I started with the intend to build a secure village and someplace to store villagers safely. The result might be a bit over the top and I am probably not going to build this a second time. We have a proverb in German: Mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schießen (translates to something like: shooting sparrows with cannons) and that is what this project has kind of become. The collage of this represents this concept Oh, and if nobody else is uploading stuff it will probably end with me uploading half of my SK screenshots folder. So feel encouraged! Sorry that I had to split the picture in three parts to upload it.
Alright, this will be the last bunch of pictures from my side. Enjoy! I have no idea who is responsible for the buildings in the first picture. All I know is that I sold a bunch of stone for that cliff on the right side (barely visible). Here you see the undersea domes of SeaRift (Commagin_Wofangs town). This is a part of DefiantTreks unfinished town called Federation (A Star Trek reference? Who would have thought? ) The town with the most metal name on this server: Darkness. I did not include the giant pigman spawner to the left. Now to the likely best town on this server (Just in case Major_Graft forgets to upload any pictures as he hurries to finish the last few things). The only thing that bugs me is that large zombie pigmen farm above (you can only see the bottom part in the left half of the screenshot). And now to my latest project: the town spawn of Aquitaine, just ready in time for the reset I think I won't be using netherquartz for a while now.
Hey, I really enjoyed the towny 1.0 server so I compiled a bunch of pics that I will probably put into an imgur album later on today or tomorrow (later in post) but before that, I have a few coordinates for the major or important builds in my experience on the server.
