INTRODUCTION All Donators on Creative Build Discovery can generate their own private world to build in right on the server. The owners of these worlds have full control over who can access and build in their worlds. We created this system because we wanted to offer a way for players to build even bigger without the need for an unrealistically high building rank. The private world system is able to intelligently load and unload worlds from the server as they are needed, which allows us to offer these huge worlds without the risk of bad server performance. The system was also created with compatibility for our build submission plugin, which adds the ability for players to submit builds inside of private worlds! This tutorial will outline everything you need to know to take full advantage of this system. GETTING STARTED To create your own private world, type /world create. You will see a confirmation in chat when the world creation is finished (it may take a few seconds). Teleport into your world using /world tp. When this command is issued, you will be brought into your world. A small spawn point will be generated along with the world, however, you are free to edit/remove it at any time! And it's that simple to create and access your world! After you have teleported into your world, you are free to build in it to your heart's desire. THE SIZE OF YOUR WORLD The size of your private world will depend on the Donator rank that you currently have. Below is a list of the world sizes each rank grants you: Donator - 500 x 500 WorldBorder (250 blocks in each direction from the middle) Sponsor - 1,000 x 1,000 WorldBorder (500 blocks in each direction from the middle) VIP - 1,500 x 1,500 WorldBorder (750 blocks in each direction from the middle) Patron - 2,000 x 2,000 WorldBorder (1,000 blocks in each direction from the middle) Benefactor - 2,500 x 2,500 WorldBorder (1,250 blocks in each direction from the middle) Cosmos - 3,000 x 3,000 WorldBorder (1,500 blocks in each direction from the middle) If you upgrade your Donator rank after you have already created your private world, the border will automatically expand to the larger size next time you teleport to your world! ALLOWING FRIENDS TO BUILD IN YOUR WORLD You can allow friends to build in your world by modifying their World Permission. It is very simple to do this. Type: /world setpermission <name> <permission> Possible permissions: Deny - Players granted this permission will no longer have the ability to teleport to your world. Visit (default) - This is the default permission granted to all players. Players with this permission may teleport to your world, but can't build or interact with items such as doors, chests, etc. Interact - Players granted this permission may interact with doors, chests, etc. However, they cannot actually place or break blocks in your world. Build - Players granted this permission may Interact with doors, chests, etc. and also place blocks in your world. However, they may not use building tools such as WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, GoBrush, and more. WE - Players granted this permission can Interact, place/break blocks, and also use all building tools in your world such as WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, GoBrush, and more. Command examples: /world setpermission KayozF5 build /world setpermission Daphsquid interact You can keep track of all users who have access to build in your world (or are denied) by using the /world listplayers command. Here's how it looks: CONCLUSION You now know the basics of the private worlds plugin for Creative Build Discovery. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact a staff member. We look forward to seeing what you all create with these massive worlds!
