    Hi everyone!

In this post, I am going to explain one of our most interesting plugins on Towny v5.0. This plugin, called AdvancedEnchantments, makes it possible to have all those fancy enchantments that make your in game life easier. This thread will serve as a tutorial and a reference to the plugin with a list of all available enchantments at the end.

    The Custom Enchanter

The central menu of this plugin can be reached by typing either /ce or /enchanter. From here you can access the Tinkerer, the Magical Dust Shop, the Alchemist, you can buy Black Scrolls and, of course, buy enchantments (from hereon called AEs). All AEs are categorized into five different main tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythical.
All enchantments can only be found in their respective tier, meaning you will only get Legendary enchantments when paying the specific amount of XP. When you buy an AE of a specific tier, you will get a stackable enchantment book that will give you a random enchantment when used.

    The Tinkerer

The Netherstar in the GUI leads you to the Tinkerer (alternatively, use /tinkerer) where you can exchange items for a small amount of XP and AEs for Secret Dust of the same tier as the book. Secret Dust has a chance to give you Magic Dust (for fixing the success rates of AEs) or Failed dust, which can still be used as gunpowder.

    The Magic Dust Shop

The sugar from the /ce menu leads you to the Magic Dust Shop where you can get the Magic Dust required to improve your AEs before you try to add them to your item. Each of the five different tiers of AEs requires its own kind of magic dust (e.g. Legendary Magic Dust for legendary AEs).

    The Alchemist

The anvil leads to the Alchemist (alternatively use /alchemist), where you can combine magic dust and AEs with the same name and level. To get an AE of a certain level, you have to combine two AEs, that are a level lower, similar to normal enchantments. This means that level 3 + level 3 of an AE will give you level 4 of that AE.

    AEs – Basic information

The essential info about any AE book can be seen by hovering over it with your curser. You will see its name, its level, the effect, the success and destroy chances and, of course, for which item it can be used for. The success and destroy rate add always up to 100%, so if you increase the success rate, the destroy chance is lowered automatically.

When applying an AE there are only two possible outcomes, either it is successful, or the book is destroyed together with the item (if it wasn’t protected).

    AEs – Basic mechanics

The majority of all AEs work in a chance-and-cooldown-based manner. This means that the effect of an AE can be activated when something specific happens (e.g. being hit for defensive AEs or hitting an entity for active ones). Is this case, the effect has a certain chance to be triggered, which is often followed by a short cooldown, during which the effect cannot be triggered again. Of course, there are also AEs that do not require a cooldown, have a 100% chance to activate or are permanently active. By the way, this chance and cooldown-based system allows us to easily adjust enchantments as needed. So, if you think a specific enchantment needs a buff/nerf, feel free to give us your feedback!

    Special items

A White Scroll is the only way to protect your item from the Destroy Chance of an AE. After applying it, it prevents the destruction of your item this way only once.

The Black Scroll is the only way to remove AEs from your items. When you use a Black Scroll, a random enchantment on the item will be removed and converted into a book. The success rate of the AE after converting is shown on the Black Scroll. Works only for AEs.

As shown in the description, the Mob Tracker adds a counter for all the mobs you are killing with a specific weapon.

If you are a fan of PvP, the Stat Tracker is the item you want, as it counts all the players you kill with a specific weapon.

Finally, for all the Woodcutters and Miners out there, the Block Tracker counts all the blocks you break with a specific tool.
